Diaspores – Field studies in the Community garden, Group exhibition at Temporary Gallery Cologne 2023
Diaspores - Field Studies in the Community Garden brings together research results that were compiled between August and November 2022 in the NeuLand Community Garden. The project is focused on wild plants that live their own existence apart from cultivated beds, independent of human care, creating valuable flora for insects and birds and playing an essential role in the ecosystem. Against the background that the NeuLand Garden will move to another location in 2023, a digital archive was created in collaboration on the one hand, in which over 100 wild plant species were recorded, and on the other hand, a seed archive that could be taken away and sown by the visitors of the exhibiton at Temporary Gallery (which took place in January 2023). Participating artists: Claudine Brackhagen, Reinhard Doubrawa, Sophie Krambrich, Freya Hattenberger, Andrea Wille and Stefanie Pluta. More information here
